music video final draft

final Music video link - https://vimeo.com/299402164 My music video is all based on a party atmosphere. It is a first person view throughout most of the video. I used different camera angles and lighting in order to give it that upbeat and party vibe that I was hoping for. I also used the pov camera angle to create a more immersive experience in order for the viewer to not get bored and watch the video again and again. Here are a few screenshots of my video: -This shot contain a few different techniques to make this normal shot become a good shot. The lighting in this video makes this shot receive a upbeat and happy atmosphere. This is important because my song is all about having a good time and adding a shot so vibrant and rich in the theme of happiness and good times is very important for my music video as a whole. - This shot is known as a birds eye view shot. For this shot I hovered my phone over a group of my actors as they danced to the song. This vie

website creation

Website creation I created my video on WIX. WIX is a website where you can create a website from scratch and add whatever you want o it. I put my own backgrounds on. I then added my music video on there so you can easily access it from the page 2 on my website. also on page 2 of my website I added my blog which can be seen from the website and once clicked on can be browsed through. link to my website:  https://samhoughton36.wixsite.com/mysite-1

storyboard

Image
Storyboard This is my storyboard for my music video. I have waited to make my storyboard after the music video was completed. The reasoning behind this is because if I wanted to change anything and improvise a scene then I would have to change the whole video. This would add difficulties to my website so now I have completed my video I have been able to create my storyboard.

peer assessment

Peer assessment This post is all about People viewing my video and giving their honest assessment of it. This is important as it allows me to make the necessary changes to make sure my video is the best it can be before sending off my final video. Tia - "The music video as a whole is good and I like how you expressed the theme of a party very well. One problem about your video is that the music jolts a little bit at the beginning and ruins this part of the video." Kallum - "your video is good because of the different camera angles and lighting you used in your video clips. An improvement for your video could be how the ending is quite anti-climactic, this is because the music is still in the chorus and the video is still going at a fast pace but it suddenly just stops." Regan - "I like the way you used long lasting shots in the POV(point of view) style to give your video an exciting, unique, and immersive feeling. The one problem that stood out to me

editing process

Image
Editing process To edit my video I made the decision to use Adobe Premier Elements.  - First of all I had to save all my videos in my folder so I could successfully put them on my editing software. This is because I had to have my clips on the computers system for them to be transferred onto the adobe elements editing software. I couldn't just take them (my video clips) from my phone and put them on the Adobe elements software, I had to save them from my phone to the computer. - I then put all my videos on the software and put them in order.  - Once I had my video clips in order I had to cut down some clips and spread them out to make the video flow better, and make it bearable to watch. This didn't take long but caused my video to be a lot better. - Next I decided to play around with all the features of adobe elements software. This would consist of using tools like slow motion to make sure my video can be as unique and as perfect as I can possibly make it. I put a

uploading of video clips

Image
This post is all about the process in uploading my video clips to the editing software. This is to show the beginning of creating my video and how I managed to transfer my clips to the computers system and then to adobe elements. When making my video I came across a difficulty. I used my phone to film my video so I had to transfer the clips from my phone to the computer. To do this I had to use an android cable and connect my phone to the computer. I then opened the Adobe elements editing software and tried to add my clips on the software. The problem I had was it wasn't letting me put my clips on Adobe elements. To solve this problem I didn't have to do much. All I had to do is transfer my clips on my phone to save them on my computer, then I could move my clips from my computer to the Adobe elements editing software. Here's where I saved my clips: -Step 1 First I went into the my computer area and selected my account -Step 2 I then went into the year 13

risk assessment

RISK ASSESSMENT  A risk assessment is used to expose the problems that may happen in the video and find multiple solutions for them. The reason I used a risk assessment was not only to make the video go smoothly but also to make sure all the cast members will be fit for filming. A risk assessment is very important for my project because I have one major day of filming. This means that if something goes wrong I will have to either pick another day or have to film with one less member. Many things could go wrong but a risk assessment will reduce the percentage of things that could go wrong. HAZARD PEOPLE/EQUIPMENT   THAT MAY BE HARMED RISK CONTROLS RISK ASSESSMENT (LOW, MODERATE, HIGH) FURTHER ACTION TO CONTROL THE RISKS WEATHER This could disrupt filming and could possibly cause damage to equipment important for filming or any props etc. If it is extreme weather people may get harmed when driving in the weather Make sure all equipm
