Music Video montage I will be creating a 30 second video that will have a backing track over it. In the video I will be looking at creating some eye catching shots. To do this I will use lighting successfully and camera angles that can change the feeling of a video. The song that will be used as my backing track has to be related to my chosen genre.

HIP HOP Genre analysis Hip Hop Hip Hop is a genre that is nowadays a watered down gangsta rap. It has all the parts of gangsta rap like chains, the clothes and just the style in general, however it does not talk about murder and crime that much. Honestly most of the famous Hip Hop videos are to do with love, peace and less about violence and being a criminal. For example one of the most famous Hip Hop is I'll be missing you by P. Diddy and Faith Evans. This is a song about Faith Evans (Biggie smalls' wife) and P. Diddy (Biggie smalls' best friend) mourning Biggie smalls. In the video they have all chains, leather jackets, glasses and motorbikes which show the Hip Hop presence in the video. Hip Hop Presentation This is an overview of Hip Hop presentation.  For this our whole class had to make a  present ation based on a music genre. for this  we were  chosen to take the genre Hip Hop and  mold it  i nto a presentation. On this slide we described what Hip Hop is and gave examples of artists. we explained how hip hop is similar to rap, that it has an instrumental beat, created around the 70s etc. Then listed off  some artists like Kendrick and 50 cent. Finally we talked about the beat construction in the songs. This is the slide where we talk about who the Hip Hop target audience is and why. The genre is targeted towards adults and teens, this is because of the explicit language and the culture of the genre. On this slide we gave an example of a song that is part of the Hip Hop genre. Instagram Poll I am going to make a music video on a certain genre and in order to find out what genre I will use I started a poll. I decide to place my poll on Instagram. This is so I could go on a social media platform that has a lot of people on it, which can add to the variety of opinions, making the poll more diverse. I put up a message on my Instagram story saying what music genre I should use for my media. People will then pick what their favorite option is on the poll. The genres I put on the poll were Hip Hop, Country, R&B and Reggae. Once my poll was completed I took a screenshot of the results. I then had to pick the genre that had the most votes. I have decided to use the genre of Hip Hop. The reason I decided to pick this genre is for many reasons. For example one of the reasons is because of the out come of my Instagram poll. My music video pitch My videos story line is about a lonely women who is sitting outside the party, while this is happening everyone has a contrasting mood and are having the time of their lives inside the house where the party is going on. My audience for my music video will be predominantly teenagers. This is because when you become a teenager all you want to do is party, so with my party themed video it will reach out to them. My mise en scene is full of images of important angles I will use and contains things that teenagers would relate to. The actors in my video are teenagers which is also my target audience, this allows the audience to relate with the actors and with what the actors are doing. I will edit the cuts in the video to compliment the beat of the song. This is so it will flow well and keep the viewer intrigued.
